We Loved the Location
Three generations, 13 of us, had a perfect week at Brad’s place. We loved the location on the north side of Grand Cayman because we were away from the crowd on Seven Mile Beach. We had 2 grandparents, 7 adult children and 4 grandchildren ages 5, 3, 2, & 9 months!
The accommodation was perfectly comfortable, spacious, & air-conditioned. The kitchen was large with lots of seating inside and outside on the screened in porch. The two refrigerators really came in handy. We were able to make breakfast and lunch every day at the house, and Chisholm‘s grocery, walking distance, supplied 90% of what we needed.
We had plenty of togetherness, but could retreat to our separate bedrooms every evening. The two separate cottages gave us extra space for anyone who needed a quieter location. But the real attraction is the outdoors—the pool, deck, sand beach, dock and gazebo (with hammock!) overlooking the ocean was spectacular. Kayaked & snorkeled every day!

Everything was Wonderful
Everything was wonderful, kitchen furnishings were more than ample for our large family vacation (18 people total ages 3-72).
Would definitely recommend, we really enjoyed the quiet side of the island and spending time at Rum Point beach; also be sure to swim with the stingrays, it was amazing The most difficult part of our trip was learning to drive on the left side of the road!! 🙂
The owner made it very easy to reach him if we had any issues and wanted to be sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it most definitely was.

We WISHED we had Booked a Longer Stay
We cannot say enough amazing things about Brad and his stunning home. From the moment we walked in we felt at home.
The stunning views of the beach and ocean were a delight to wake up to each and every morning. Brad had ALL the extras to make the stay even more special- beach toys, cornhole, floaties, old arcade game (Mrs. Pac Man) kayaks and more!
As a large group of family ranging from 5 months old to 91 years old the house ticked all the boxes for everyone. We loved how inclusive the living spaces were but when we needed time to ourselves our rooms felt private.
Having a bathroom attached to most of the rooms made a huge difference as well. The kitchen was fully equipped and the house was beautifully decorated.
The kids spent hours playing in the pool and on the beach. There was something for everyone. Thank you Brad for making this a truly memorable vacation. We will be back!!!

The Home was Perfect!
It accommodated all 19 of us with plenty of room. The house came equipped with everything you needed for the kitchen along with beach equipment for snorkeling and also pool toys.
Private and quiet, very lowkey being on the north side away from popular 7 mile beach. Walkable to small grocery store which had everything we needed. Snorkeling and kayaking right outside the house. 5 min from rum point.
Brad had great recommendations and was very attentive when we had questions! Would definitely recommend this house to everyone, we had a great time!

We Can't Say Enough Good Things
We have stayed in houses in many places in the US and abroad, and this house is high on our list of memorable ones. The relaxing, quiet vibe of the North Side was perfect.
The house is very spacious with eating areas both indoors and out and enough lounge area for family members to enjoy together or separately. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking/feeding a large group with everything you need, and we used it for meals served buffet style for our group of 13.
Clearly one for the best features of the house is its location on the water. Since our group ranged from 5-82, it was the perfect place for sunbathing, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. The sports were all made easy because of the equipment available at the house, all of it in good condition.
Brad was a wonderful host and always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. Gigi, the onsite manager was also great.

Would Highly Recommend and Would Stay Again!!
My family and I stayed at Brad’s place for our annual reunion and it was a terrific experience. Brad is very communicative calling to make sure he answered any questions prior, during, and after the visit. He provided great recommendations for food and activities and his place was pristinely clean and more beautiful than the photos.
Everyone had a terrific time and Brad did a great job ensuring all of us were happy and having a good time. Would highly recommend and would stay again!!

Brad and His Team Were Excellent
Accessible and responsive, they made themselves available as needed but left us to enjoy the property without interruption. It’s a lovely home with amazing views, well designed for our large family to spend time in an open plan layout.
Both the beach and pool access were a hit with the kids. And there’s just something special about watching the sun set while laying in the hammock at the end of the dock. And the home fits right into the community with a local grocery store and restaurants nearby, yet keeps an air of calm and serenity!

We LOVED the House!
Everyone was in their own room with their own bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped. We used the pool everyday and snorkeled off the pier. The BBQ was used 4 out of the 7 nights. Kayaks were great just a lot to do at the house. You don’t have to leave the house if you don’t want to.

Peaceful, Clean and Comfortable
Our family vacation was everything we expected and our stay at Far Tortuga was wonderful. Peaceful, clean and comfortable. The snorkeling off the pier was easy. Our tours from Rum Point were close by and our boat tour to the stingrays, snorkeling and star fish point was the highlight of the week.
I would suggest purchasing your groceries and/or liquor from Hurley's or Foster's as the local store, Chisholm's, is twice the price as the others. But of course when you are on the northside, you'll will need to venture there for some items. The two days we went to 7-mile, traffic was extremely heavy, but the beach was beautiful.
This was an ideal place to stay if you want some time for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Cayman Islands. All in all, the Villa was a great place to stay for our family. Thank you Brad, a great host.

Traveled with Family and Young Children
Far Tortuga was an absolute dream for our family. The home is equipped with everything you need and the furnishings are cozy. Our family is finicky about beds and bedding and these were soft and plush.
Snorkeling the reef in the back yard every day was everyone’s favorite past time. We rented a car and enjoyed getting around the entire island and experiencing the local food and culture.
Brad was delightful to work with and he’s very passionate about Grand Cayman, all his recommendations were a huge hit. Thank you for the incredible memories and sharing your beautiful space with us. We will be back!

Our Family had a Wonderful Time at Far Tortuga!
The house was amazing with everything we needed and many things we didn’t even have the time to use. We loved the location for its quiet location and amazing waterfront views. The pool was used multiple times a day.
Some in our family snorkeled off the dock and some enjoyed the mornings in the hammock. We loved the home and the Cayman Islands.
Brad was always available and super easy to speak with. He has created an amazing home for families to fall in love with the Cayman Islands. Hope to return!

This vacation was a definite 10/10!
Our family of 12 just returned from a wonderful week at Far Tortuga. We stayed in the home in 2018 and loved it. However, the updates have made it even better! We all enjoyed having en suite bathrooms and the privacy they provide.
The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking in it. Chisholm’s Grocery is just down the road and easy to grab items we needed for breakfasts and lunches.
The pool provided hours of entertainment for our little travelers and the adults enjoyed the hammock on the gazebo for reading.
Brad provided great information prior to our arrival and the management company was equally attentive when we had a minor glitch with one of the door locks.

We will be Back!
What can we say about this house other than it was amazing. It offered beautiful sunrises to sunsets. The house was packed with beach towels, sand toys, kayaks for outside use.
Inside you had everything you needed with a fully stocked kitchen. The location was right down the street from a little grocery store that had everything you needed. Brad was available anytime we had a question. The beds were comfy. The house was so clean.
Our first vacation to Grand Cayman was wonderful and we will be back. Thanks Brad for sharing your home with us!

Wow... What an Amazing Experience
The house and the host (Brad) are absolutely amazing. Let me first start with the host. Brad from the very moment I sent him a message with questions about the house after I booked called me almost immediately on a Sunday evening. He answered all of my questions and more.
After that any question I had prior to reservation was answered almost immediately. During the stay he checked in to see how everything was and if we needed anything multiple times during our stay. Brad knows the island and the area and can offer suggestions for whatever you may want to do or go.
And now for the property. I can't say much more than what you see is what you get. The house is very well represented Airbnb listing. Simply amazing! The home has everything you need to make it an unforgettable experience inside and out.
Multiple kayaks, snorkeling gear for 10+ people, sand toys, life jackets and outdoor toys a plenty for all of your outdoor needs.

Absolutely Fantastic!
Our stay at the Airbnb was absolutely fantastic!
The hostess was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. There was so much to do, from kayaking and snorkeling to playing sand volleyball, ensuring that our days were filled with fun and adventure.
The property itself was peaceful, providing a restful and relaxing atmosphere. The home was well stocked with everything we needed, making our stay even more comfortable. We also hired a private chef for one evening, which was a delightful experience. The scuba diving was exceptional. And visiting Stingray City was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Best Family Vacation Ever!
Check-in and Check-out were very simple and hardly required any effort. We had two adult couples and 8 teenagers in the main house and West Cottage. We didn't rent the East Cottage.
The house was a perfect fit for us. Modern, updated, clean and plenty of room for the twelve of us. Very fully stocked, with every dish and kitchen utensil we needed to cook our own meals and plenty of storage containers for leftovers, plus the two fridges and two coffee pots were fully utilized.
Beach towels, snorkel gear and four kayaks all were used. The pool was used every day, the gazebo at the end of the dock was the evening hangout for the teens while the adults claimed the beach front lounge chairs. Plenty of parking out front for more than three cars. The location is private, quiet and convenient.
Brad, the property owner, earns the best rank for host when it comes to customer service, friendliness and response. We rented the property six months before the trip. A few times before the trip and a couple times while in the house, we messaged Brad and he ALWAYS responded within minutes. He made us feel very welcome and was helpful with every request. Thanks Brad for the amazing property and fro being a great host.

Best Family Vacation Ever!
Far Tortuga was absolutely amazing! The oceanfront villa offers an unparalleled combination of luxury, privacy, and natural beauty. The property is beautifully maintained, with top-tier amenities and stylish decor that enhances the island experience.
We fished and snorkeled to the live coral reef right off the dock. We swam right off the sandy shore. The sandy beach was perfect for the kids to wade and play.
The location is ideal being less than 10 minutes to numerous restaurants including Rum Point. There is a small grocery store with all you need a short walk away.
Brad's warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay flawless. Nothing was missed. Brad and the island manager thought of everything! This is a place where unforgettable memories are made. We are booking for next year. It is difficulty to find a rental house that fits a large group like ours (there were 24 of us).

Far Tortuga was Gorgeous!
Far Tortuga was gorgeous and the location did not disappoint! The snorkeling just off the pier was amazing, and my kids enjoyed the sandy beach. (Note that the beach and water are very rocky, so water shoes are a must!) We brought all of our own snorkel gear, but there was a lot available at the house for general use along with sand toys for kids.
The double bunk room was directly next to the ocean front king room, and both had private bathrooms, which was the perfect set up for my husband and I with our four young children. The house was thoughtfully designed and supplied with pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils and even dishwasher pods (we did have to buy hand soaps, paper towels, and toilet paper during our week-long stay).
The grocery store was also so convenient - only three houses down - and had plenty of food and drink (including alcohol) options for the week. We appreciated that Brad was very responsive and helpful!

Far Tortuga is Awesome!
Beautiful home in a magical setting. My family with grandkids ranging from age 1 to 13 all had a wonderful time at this house.
The pool was perfect temps for even the littlest and the oldest loved every sunrise and sunset under the gazebo on the dock. The house was loaded with all the things needed to spend a relaxing week in the Caymans. Loved it all!

Grand Cayman's Best Kept Secret!
We have been coming to Grand Cayman for over 20 years and we stayed at Far Tortuga more than 15 years ago. It was awesome then and EVEN BETTER now!
The new owners did a massive renovation and it is awesome! The villa offers everything you could possibly need for an unforgettable vacation - spacious living areas, a gorgeous infinity pool, and direct access to the water. We snorkeled and fished from the private dock and swam/kayaked from the private beach.
Brad (our host) was wonderful, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. This villa is truly Grand Caymans best- kept-secret! We would recommend this to anyone!

Amazing!
Far Tortuga on Grand Cayman was awesome. The Villa is spacious, with a private sand beach, a nice heated outdoor pool, massive pool deck that we all hung out on, and a long dock that we fished off of and snorkeled to a coral reef close by.
What really struck me is how large the villa is from the inside. It was able to accommodate all 16 of us with ample privacy. The location is quiet, perfect for relaxing but also close to exploring the island and going to beachfront restaurants.
Brad, the host, is super friendly, quick to respond, gave us tons of suggestions on where to eat and activities to do and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it’s a great spot to escape the cold and unwind in paradise! We are coming back next year.

WOW is the Word That First Comes to Mind!
We have traveled to many island destinations over the years, but this experience tops our list! The Villa is stunning and huge with beautiful views! We definitely underutilized the property with only 3 couples, but the main living area, pool, and beach all got plenty of use.
Of all the VRBO’s we have been to, I have never seen one so fully stocked. The kitchen had every imaginable cooking utensil, pots, pans, coffee bar, two massive fridges, and wine fridge. Snorkeling equipment, kayaks, pool toys, all supplied. No need to pay for rental equipment for these activities!
After a few days of private quiet time, if you get that social itch to roam around take a short drive to Rum Point to experience an amazing beach, outdoor bar, and restaurant. Another close beach is starfish bay. Relax, snorkel, and bring your cooler (provided in the Villa) for the day.
The owner Brad was very responsive before and during our trip. Definitely returning!

Amazing Stay
We had an amazing stay at Far Tortuga! Our family of 11 adults had plenty of space, and the house had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped.

We Had the Most Amazing Experience
We had the most amazing experience staying at Far Tortuga in Grand Cayman. This beautiful property offered everything I could have asked for and more.
The house is stunning, with spacious rooms and incredible views, but what truly stood out were the outdoor spaces and the incredible snorkeling right off the dock.
The beach was absolutely gorgeous—pristine, peaceful, and perfect for spending hours just soaking up the sun or walking along the shore. The highlight for us was definitely the snorkeling. The water is crystal clear, and we were able to swim with vibrant fish, sea turtles, and even rays, all just off the private dock.
Brad, the host, was phenomenal. He made sure we had everything we needed, gave great recommendations for local activities, and really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

Spectacular Family Vacation

Great Place for a Big Group
We took our entire family (16 of us) and had a wonderful time!! The house was amazing with lots of room for everyone.
The kitchen had everything to cook a gourmet meal! The walk out the back door of the screened in porch, onto the deck with the pool was spectacular but the scenery beyond was breathtaking!!!
Brad was a wonderful host and he answered any questions quickly and his recommendations for dinners out was very helpful. We loved it here and can’t wait for possible return trip.

What a Great Getaway
Six couples in our family stayed at Far Tortuga for a week and had a wonderful getaway. The house accommodated us very well.
Each couple had a private bedroom with its own en-suite bath, and the gathering spaces were large enough for all of us to play games, dine together, watch TV, or just visit. We snorkeled and kayaked right off the private pier and enjoyed sitting outside or in the screened porch every morning. The kitchen is well equipped, and we used it a lot.
Brad and Gigi were great hosts and responsive to our needs in a timely way. We recommend Far Tortuga if you plan a trip to Grand Cayman.

Far Tortuga was Awesome
Our family has been coming to Grand Cayman for years. We have stayed on 7-mile beach and in the Northside/Rum Point area.
Far Tortuga was awesome. Our large group of 13 including 5 kids had a blast. Sandy beach. A huge dock with a covered gazebo to fish, snorkel and swim off of. Great pool and pool deck area. Spacious bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, and huge great room. The owners thought of everything: kayaks, snorkel gear, plenty of pool furniture, arcade games, crib/high chairs, etc.
Our entire group said it was one of the best vacations they have ever taken.
We are booking again for spring 2025. Thanks Brad (host).

Already Planning a Return
Our friends were looking for a relaxing beach getaway and Far Tortuga did not disappoint. The property is absolutely breathtaking and meticulously kept. With our party of 10, we easily had our own spaces. The open area kitchen was great for cooking and meal preparation.

A Dream Vacation Spot
We brought three generations of our family to Far Tortuga, and it exceeded every expectation! The property is designed with families in mind—plenty of space for everyone to relax, large kitchen for group meals, and thoughtful extras.
The highlight for us was the dock and gazebo area. We fished, snorkeled, and even spotted a sea turtle one evening! The pool deck was another favorite hangout, with comfortable lounge chairs and pool fun for the kids.
Brad’s hospitality was outstanding. He answered all our questions promptly and even helped us arrange a private boat tour. It’s clear he truly cares about his guests having the best experience possible. This was hands down the best family vacation we’ve ever had, and we’re already planning our return.

An Oasis of Relaxation
Far Tortuga Villa is everything you could want in a tropical retreat and more. The location is peaceful and secluded, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the natural beauty of Grand Cayman. The villa's design is stunning, with panoramic ocean views, spacious bedrooms, and a pool area that feels like a private resort. The restaurant recommendations were on point and we enjoyed a few enjoyable meals out.
We spent our days lounging on the beach, taking the kayaks out, and exploring nearby attractions like Starfish Point. The evenings were equally magical, with the dock lights illuminating the water and the sound of waves lulling us to sleep.
Brad was the ultimate host—kind, responsive, and full of great tips for making the most of our stay. The little touches, like the welcome snacks and the perfectly maintained beach gear, made us feel truly pampered. Far Tortuga is a gem we can't wait to return to!

Wonderful Property, Well Appointed, Great Location
We spent Chrismas week at this newly-renovated property. It’s in a great location, close enough to all of the amenities at Rum Point (parks, beaches, water sports, restaurants) but far enough where you feel secluded with your own pool and beach.
We loved both the house and the area and would stay here again. The property was just renovated and was light and airy. Everything was well appointed. The kitchen had every pot and pan and utensil imaginable, even a crock pot and rice coooker. Plenty of plates and utensils.
Bedrooms were nice, all new bathrooms, and fold out beds in every closet so we could arrange where the kids stayed easily. The bunk bed even had a trundle. The owner was very accommodating with providing cribs and high chairs on request.
Beach was great, a bit rocky and some seaweed but not a problem and there was plenty of beach for the kids to play on. Great snorkeling location, lots of conch and easy to wade out to the reef, and there is plenty of snorkel equipment pro.
Rum Bay is a 10 minute drive, the beach nearby at Starfish Point is very nice soft sand as is the one at Rum Point Resort where you can have someone bring you frozen drinks all day if you want that. We made a couple of trips to the west side / seven mile for activities but we liked staying on Northside and would do so again.
The property manager was highly responsive to our minor issues and questions. This is a well managed property in nice shape, great for extended family stays.
